iBiquity Digital Corporation and Kiryung Electronics Develop Combined HD Radio & ATSC-MH Portable Player
Las Vegas, Nevada, National Association of Broadcasters Show 2010, April 13, 2010 – iBiquity Digital Corporation, the developer of digital HD Radio Technology for AM and FM audio and data broadcasting, unveiled a combined HD Radio and ATSC-MH (Mobile DTV) Portable Player. This product has been designed in conjunction with Kiryung Electronics based out of Seoul, Korea.
The combined ATSC-MH and HD Radio product receives between 168 to 245MHz (VHF) and 470 to 862MHz (UHF) for Mobile TV reception and 87.5 to 107.9MHz for HD Radio reception. The product has been designed with the Samsung and LG ATSC-MH chipset and Samsung EM’s chipset, which consists of the RF frontend (SEMHDR100A), digital baseband (SEMHDRC200A). The Portable Player has a 3.5” TFT (320x240) – QVGA with a full Touch Screen. The unit has a 1350mAH Lithium-ion battery and is 103mm x 76mm x 18.5mm (W x H x D) in size.
